The 10th Planet’s beginnings stem from a spiritual and faith-based personal project.
One of Cliff’s and Jeanne’s six children – not meaning to take the Lord’s name in vain – referred to God as ‘The Guy in the Sky’. Thinking the title was clever, Cliff looked into having t-shirts printed using that title. When he couldn’t find anyone locally that was capable of doing what he wanted, he realized there was an unfulfilled market; so he decided to open his own small business.
The time came to name the business; so Cliff went back to his children. Around the dinner table the children pondered a name that would reflect a heavenly, yet unique, impression. Thus, The 10th Planet was born.
